Max Mullinix (The Woodlands, Texas) is an active designer, consultant, adjudicator, and mentor in the arts community. He has been involved in the pageantry arts community for over 20 years. During that time, he’s been a proven point person for creativity and education at the highest levels of concert band, percussion ensemble, marching band, drum corps, and Winter Guard International (WGI). His adjudication, teaching, and design credits include: The Midwest Clinic (2006 and 2013), 14 Bands of America (BOA) Grand National Championships Finalist titles, four-time Class AAA National Champion, Macy’s Thanksgiving Day Parade, multiple WGI World Championship Finalists, multiple Texas University Interscholastic League (UIL) State Bands, 2005 BOA National Honor Band Staff, three Drum Corps International (DCI) World Championship ensembles, Georgia Music Educators Association (GMEA) State Conference, TMEA State Conference, DCI adjudicator, BOA adjudicator, and many state circuits as an adjudicator. Mullinix currently lives in The Woodlands, Texas with his wife Brooke, kids Ally and Austin, and dog Coco.
