Jenna Yee is in her 14th year of teaching. She is currently Associate Director of Bands at Stiles MS in Leander ISD in northwest Austin, TX. She teaches beginning horn, trumpet, trombone, euphonium and flute as well as directing the non-varsity band. Her bands have consistently received superior ratings at the state UIL concert and sightreading contest as well as being named Citation of Excellence winners through the Foundation for Music Education multiple times. Jenna has worked with Darcy Williams for the past 11 years and truly enjoys coming to school every day. She is also a co-host of the After Sectionals podcast with Darcy.
Jenna is married to her college sweetheart, Chris who is the Director of Bands at Cedar Park High School. They have two boys, Noah (8) and Ashton (6) who are clearly future low brass and trumpet players, respectively. When she isn’t at school, you can probably find her working out.
