Each event will follow the same schedule:
- 4:30 – 5:00 PM CT: Meet & Greet
- 5:00 – 6:00 PM CT: Clinic Session
After the clinic session concludes, participants are invited to watch Finals Competition of the corresponding Bands of America Regional Championship. A ticket is included in the cost of registration and will be delivered to participants in advance of Finals beginning. Find the event schedules here:

- San Antonio Super Regional (San Antonio, TX)
For San Antonio, dinner is included in the cost of registration and will be served to participants in the Alamodome.

Culture by Design: What Matters Most in the Band Hall
Great band programs are not defined only by ratings, trophies, or competitive success. Long after students forget the score, they will remember how the program made them feel, whether they felt known, valued, connected, and part of something meaningful.
This session challenges band directors to intentionally define the culture they want to create, then compare that vision with the reality of their program and make thoughtful adjustments one moment at a time. The goal is not to ignore achievement, but to recognize that lasting success is often a byproduct of a healthy, student-centered culture.
We’ll also explore how the person leading the program shapes that culture and why boundaries, personal health, curiosity, and a life outside the band hall matter. Because the strongest programs are built not only by great teachers, but by healthy, three-dimensional people.

This session will explore how directors can intentionally use this important part of the year to reflect, reset, refocus, and develop their students, staff, and overall program—making the most of the concert band, jazz band, chamber music, winter activities, festivals, and spring performances happening right now.
Whether you are a middle school director building the foundation or a high school director preparing students for the next level, the goal is the same: make the rest of this year matter—developing better musicians, stronger leaders, a healthier culture, and a more successful total program along the way.
