Lunchtime Chat: High School Directors’ Group

We are all longing to get back into the band room and on the football field in a way that looks familiar, because last year was NOT familiar! We did learn lessons, though. How can we build back our programs to serve as a way to recover from the last year and thrive in the fall? Topics we will address with our expert panel include: amplifying student voice to envision what our programs can look like; developing space where students can better understand how their individual identity fits into the band; and, building a community where students feel comfortable being vulnerable – musically and personally.
