Travis Wingate (Toronto, ON, Canada) is currently a national judge for all visual captions, and has judged at the highest levels for both WGI and DCI. Wingate marched with Northgate Independent, based out of Atlanta, in 2006 and 2007. He has designed and consulted with numerous groups throughout the United States and the United Kingdom, most notably Lowndes High School from 2010 to 2020, a three-time WGI finalist, and Fusion Winter Guard as a consultant from 2017 to 2022. Outside of judging, Wingate is a marketing executive for a software company and has spent the majority of his career building software companies in the private equity space.
