Stephanie Aarons-Dennison (Centralia, IL) is an experienced music educator and band director with a strong background in instrumental music instruction and program leadership. She holds a Bachelor’s in Music Education from Eastern Illinois University (2016) and a Master’s in Music Education from the University of Illinois (2021). Stephanie began her teaching career at Fairfield Community High School before becoming Director of Bands at Centralia High School in 2017, where she leads various ensembles and music courses, including AP Music Theory. She also serves as the sponsor of the Tri-M Music Honor Society. Stephanie also teaches an after school band program at the St. Mary’s Grade School in Centralia. Since 2016, she has served as an administrative assistant for the Boston Crusaders Drum and Bugle Corps. In 2024, Stephanie was recognized by the Illinois Jaycees as an Outstanding Young Persons of Illinois Award winner, and is a 2025 Music for All Advocacy in Action Award Recipient. She currently resides in Breese, Illinois, with her husband Matthew Dennison and pomsky Minnie.
