Shirl Chumley

Shirl Chumley (Denver, CO) brings years of national and international judging experience to the marching arts. Her background includes performing with her high school marching band and winter guard, as well as the independent A guard Xavius. After high school, Shirl and her brother, William, returned to their alma mater to co-design and instruct the winter guard program. Today, she travels extensively across the country judging marching band, DCI, and WGI competitions, as well as internationally for Color Guard Nederland in the Netherlands.
