Ron Lambert (Apollo Beach, FL) serves as Director of Bands at Parrish Community High School, following successful tenures at Lakewood Ranch High School and Bradenton Southeast High School. He is also Co-Founder and President of RK Advisory Group, a healthcare solutions consulting firm based in Tampa, Florida. Prior to his secondary teaching appointments, Lambert was Associate Director of Bands at the University of South Florida, where he oversaw and designed for the Herd of Thunder Marching Percussion, the USF Show Band, and the USF Winter Percussion program.
Lambert has spent four summers as a member of the Bands of America Summer Camp faculty, facilitating sessions as a Director Academy Assistant, as well as teaching drum majors and student leadership. From 2019 to 2022, he served as Director of The Cadets Drum and Bugle Corps and previously held the position of Assistant Director with the Boston Crusaders from 2017 to 2019. A graduate of the University of Illinois, Lambert is also a former member of the The Cavaliers Drum and Bugle Corps. Since 1991, Lambert has been a respected instructor, designer, administrator, and adjudicator throughout the competitive marching band, indoor percussion, and drum corps communities.
Lambert is a proud Yamaha artist. He is a member of Phi Mu Alpha Sinfonia and Phi Beta Sigma fraternities, and his professional affiliations include Drum Corps International, Winter Guard International, Florida Marching Band Championships, Florida Federation of Colorguards Circuit, Music for All, Florida Bandmasters Association, and Florida Music Education Association.
