Josh Gall is co-founder of Ultimate Drill Book, Beam, and StrideTV, technology-driven music education companies that build tools for students and educators around the world. Leading the direction of the company with his brother and co-founder, Luke, Josh has helped establish Ultimate Drill Book, Beam, and StrideTV products as the leading technologies relied upon by tens of thousands of high schools, colleges, and drum corps globally.

While leading the growth of Ultimate Drill Book, Josh also held appointments on the faculty of The University of Texas at Austin as well as in public schools throughout Virginia and Florida.

During his time at The University of Texas, Josh served as Assistant Director of Bands where he helped lead the athletic bands and concert ensembles while teaching academic courses in instrumental conducting, marching band methods, and wind literature. Coordinating hundreds of performances for millions of fans each year, Josh worked to help produce events televised internationally on ESPN College GameDay, FOX Sports Big Noon Kickoff, The Tonight Show with Jimmy Fallon, and countless other events.

Prior to his appointment at The University of Texas, Josh served as a Doctoral Conducting Associate at The University of Florida as well as taught in the public schools of Virginia and Florida where ensembles that he worked with were selected for VMEA, FMEA and Midwest Band & Orchestra Clinic performances. In addition to his work in the public schools, he has regularly designed for and taught some of the world’s finest marching ensembles. His extensive background in the marching arts has allowed him to work with the ten-time DCI World Champion Cadets Drum Corps, Genesis Drum Corps, and the Bluecoats Drum Corps where he is currently on staff.

Josh’s professional affiliations include the College Band Directors National Association, Texas Music Educators Association, and Texas Bandmasters Association.
