Jonathan Cao
Jonathan Cao (Plano, TX) has been the Director of Bands at Vines High School, a 9th and 10th grade campus in the Plano Senior High School cluster, since 2016. In addition to his duties leading the award-winning Vines Marching Band, concert ensembles, and jazz band, he enjoys working weekly with his feeder middle schools, Wilson and Haggard, in their beginner classes and concert ensembles. He was selected as the 2020 Plano ISD Teacher of the Year.
Outside of band, he enjoys exploring new cities and trying foods from other cultures with his friends. In his spare time, he serves as a mentor for new teachers in his school district.
