Ed Roush has been a music educator for over thirty years in the states of Texas, Hawaii, Indiana and Colorado. He has taught students at the middle, junior, and high school levels and has been on the education team of multiple drum and bugle corps.
During his teaching career, Mr. Roush has been a part of 2 Drum Corps International World Championships, a Bands of America Grand National Championships finalist, 16 Colorado Bandmasters Association State Band Championships, 3 Colorado Bandmasters Association State Concert Band Honor selections, 2 Rose Bowl Parade performances and 2 London New Year’s Day Parades. He was awarded the 2009 School, Band and Orchestra Magazine’s National “50 Teachers Who Make a Difference” annual award as Colorado’s representative. Bands taught by Mr. Roush have played for the leaders and presidents of Canada, Japan, Germany, France, the United Kingdom, European Union, Russia, Italy and the United States of America. Mr. Roush has served as a faculty member at the Bands of America Summer Symposium for 21 years. He has also been a member of the educational brass staffs at The Cavaliers, Crossmen and Santa Clara Vanguard.
