Andy Sealy (Carrollton, Texas) is in his twenty-second year as Director of Bands at Hebron High School in Carrollton, Texas. Andy is a graduate of Texas Tech University. He is a frequent concert band and marching band adjudicator and clinician. Prior to his appointment in Lewisville ISD, Andy was the Director of Bands at Randall High School in Amarillo and Monterey High School in Lubbock. He began his teaching career in west Texas in Iraan ISD and Monahans ISD. He maintains professional affiliations with the Texas Music Educators Association, Texas Bandmasters Association, American Bandmasters Association, Phi Beta Mu International Bandmasters Fraternity, Texas Music Adjudicators Association, Ph Mu Alpha Sinfonia, and the International Clarinet Association.

Andy served on the Executive Board of the Texas Music Educators Association from 2015 to 2019 including terms as TMEA President and Band Division Chair (TMEA Vice President). Andy was recognized as the Lewisville ISD Secondary Teacher of the Year in 2021-2022 and was awarded the University Scholastic League Sponsor of Excellence Award in 2016.

Andy currently serves as Chair of the Fine Arts Department at Hebron High School. Andy is the current Texas Music Adjudicator Association Marching Band Vice President. In addition, he serves on the Music for All Bands of America Advisory Committee. Andy has been happily married to Karen Sealy for 29 years. Karen is the Secondary Curriculum and Programs Director for the Lewisville Independent School District. Karen and Andy reside in Frisco, Texas.

The Hebron High School Band is a consistent Texas UIL “Sweepstakes” Winner, Bands of America Regional/Super Regional Finalist and Class Champion, and “Best in Class” Winner. In 2021, the Hebron Band program was recognized as the Exemplary High School Band by the Texas Bandmasters Association. The Hebron Marching Band was crowned as the UIL 6A State Marching Band Champions in 2021 and has made twelve straight appearances in the UIL Texas State Marching Band Contest including five Silver Medalist finishes at the UIL 6A State Marching Contest in 2012, 2014, 2016, 2020, and 2022 and a Bronze Medalist finish in 2023. In 2023, 2019, and 2015 the Hebron Marching Band was awarded the Bronze Medal at the Bands of America Grand National Championships and won the caption award for Finals Outstanding Music Performance. The Hebron Marching Band performed in the Tournament of Roses Parade on New Year’s Day 2022. The Hebron Marching Band was awarded the Sudler Shield from the John Philip Sousa Foundation in 2011.
