
Ed Roush (Indianapolis, IN) has been a music educator for the past 34 years in the states of Colorado, Texas, Hawaii, and Indiana. He has taught students at the elementary, middle, and high school levels, as well as serving on the education teams of multiple drum and bugle corps. Roush currently serves as Associate Director of Bands at Brownsburg High School in Brownsburg, Indiana.
During his teaching career, Roush has been a part of two Drum Corps International World Championships, finalists at Bands of America Grand National Championships, 16 Colorado Bandmasters Association State Band Championships, three Colorado Bandmasters Association State Concert Band Honor selections, three Rose Bowl Parade performances, and two London New Year’s Day Parades. He was awarded the 2009 School Band and Orchestra Magazine’s “50 Teachers Who Make a Difference” annual award as Colorado’s representative.
Bands taught by Roush have played for the leaders and presidents of Canada, Japan, Germany, France, the United Kingdom, European Union, Russia, Italy, and the United States of America. Roush has served as a faculty member at the Bands of America Summer Camp for the past 26 years. He has also been a member of the brass educational staff at The Cavaliers, the Crossmen, and Santa Clara Vanguard.
