Dan Morrison
Dan Morrison (San Antonio, TX) is a music educator, creative director, and entrepreneur whose work spans the marching arts, business, and media. He serves as Program Coordinator for the Santa Clara Vanguard Drum and Bugle Corps, is the CEO of Voice of San Antonio, and is the founder of Happy, Not Satisfied and Morrison Creative LLC.
Morrison previously served as Director of Bands at Ronald Reagan High School in San Antonio, Texas, where he helped lead one of the nation’s premier high school band programs. During his tenure, the program was a consistent UIL State Marching Contest finalist, earned multiple Bands of America Regional and Super Regional Championships, and was a BOA Grand National Finalist. The ensemble also performed at the Macy’s Thanksgiving Day Parade in New York City, the Rose Parade in Pasadena, California, and The Midwest Clinic in Chicago, Illinois. The program was recognized with the National Band Association’s National Blue Ribbon Award, and in 2020, Morrison was named the Texas Young Band Director of the Year.
As a designer and creative consultant, Morrison collaborates with band programs across the country. His clients have earned Bands of America regional championships, UIL State Marching Contest finalist placements, Western Band Association state championships, and invitations to perform in both the Macy’s Thanksgiving Day Parade and the Rose Parade.
Dan holds bachelor’s and master’s degrees in music education from the University of Illinois and an MBA from the USC Marshall School of Business. He lives in San Antonio, Texas, with his wife and two children.
