ISO Conducting Symposium

The ISO and Music For All are excited to announce a virtual four-day Conducting Symposium for students in high school and college. Curated and led by ISO Associate Conductor, Jacob Joyce, this seminar will cover the fundamentals of conducting, from score study techniques to navigating mixed meter. The Conducting Symposium runs on July 20, 21, 23, and 24, with up to four sessions per day with special guests Miguel Harth-Bedoya and Hugh Wolff. There will be no sessions on July 22 to allow for a break, however, Maestro Joyce will be available for “office hours” in case of questions or other needs. Registration is open and completely free to students who wish to join us.
