Victoria L. Meraz is in her twenty-ninth year of teaching and is currently serving as Director of Bands for the Willard R-II School District. A 1986 graduate of Willard High School, Victoria received her Bachelors of Music Education degree in 1991 and her Masters in Secondary Educational Administration in 2002 from Missouri State University. Victoria currently directs “The Cutting Edge” Marching Band, Wind Symphony, Jazz I, Jazz III, and teaches woodwinds at the middle and intermediate school levels. 
Along with her daily school responsibilities, Victoria currently is the Fine Arts Department Chair, serves on the PLC Committee, and has served as an Administrative Assistant within the school district. Victoria has also served as a clinician and adjudicator throughout the state of Missouri and as a staff member with the Missouri All-Star Band, Missouri Lion’s Band and the Mid-America All-Star Band, all of which have had extensive concert performances throughout the United States and Europe. 
She presently holds memberships in Missouri Music Educators Association, National Association for Music Education, International Association of Jazz Educators, Missouri Bandmasters Association, and Phi Beta Mu Honorary Band Fraternity. Victoria is also currently serving on the Advisory Board for Bands of America.
