Tom Pompei is a Two Star Junior Instructor with Parelli Natural Horsemanship. While currently a band director with 22 years of experience, Pompei studies Natural Horsemanship, spending his summers studying at the Parelli Ranch in Colorado to become a Licensed Parelli Professional. There is an obvious connection to leadership qualities and working around horses. Natural horse training avoids using force, fear, harsh bits or mechanical training aids in favor of love, language and leadership, or, said another way: relationship, communication and trustworthiness…the exact qualities we see in effective leadership.
