Lane Velayo, CAE is the Executive Director for the Indiana Music Education Association leading this state-wide association of music educator professionals in professional development, advocacy and education initiatives. Lane is an active volunteer for Arts and Education related causes, acting as an advisor for the Ohio Omicron Chapter of Phi Kappa Theta and as a regional advisor for chapters of Alpha Kappa Psi. Lane was recently elected as President-elect for the Indiana Society of Association Executives and presents at local, regional and national levels on issues of non-profit management, volunteer/alumni development and other association-related topics. Lane is a proud graduate of the University of Cincinnati.
