Jim Sturgeon (Henderson, Nevada) is very humbled to say he has been actively involved in the pageantry arts for more than 30 years. His involvement with the activity has taken him to 46 states and six countries. He proudly serves as an adjudicator for Bands of America, Drum Corps International, Winter Guard International, and many local and regional marching band and color guard circuits across the country. Sturgeon was a member of the Madison Scouts Drum and Bugle Corps and the Pride of Cincinnati Winter Guard. He has served as a designer and clinician for the Glassmen Drum and Bugle Corps, as well as for several high school band and color guard programs throughout the country. Sturgeon possesses a B.S. in business administration and an MBA from the University of Louisville. Outside of the pageantry arts, Sturgeon has spent his professional career in the field of human resources. Currently, he is the Executive Vice President of Human Resources for Bristol Hospice, based in Salt Lake City, Utah. Sturgeon lives in Henderson, Nevada.
