Jared Brockmeyer (St. Louis, MO) Jared Brockmeyer is a St. Louis-based teacher, designer, adjudicator, conductor, and clinician with a background spanning 25 years in the marching arts.

Jared has served in instructional roles ranging from intern to Visual Co-Caption Head with the Colts Drum & Bugle Corps (DCI), as a music and visual consultant with the 37th Kingswood Drum & Bugle Corps (DCUK), and in varying capacities with the Rockwood Summit High School Marching Band in Fenton, Missouri. As a designer, Jared’s clients have ranged from Texas to Iowa, from 1A schools to colleges, and from non-competitive halftime shows to BOA Finalist, BOA Class Champion, and State Champion productions. He judges annually across the Midwest independently and as an affiliate of Bands of America and the Central States Judges Association.

Jared is a band director in the St. Louis area, and presently serves as Principal Guest Conductor of the Manchester Community Band and as a visual technician for the Colts Drum & Bugle Corps. He has been honored to appear multiple times at the MMEA conference and The Midwest Clinic, to present on teaching at conferences across the country, to serve MMEA as Band Vice President at the district and state levels, and to receive the St. Louis Suburban MMEA Outstanding Music Educator award. He lives in House Springs, Missouri, with his wife Sara and daughters Eliza and Fiona.
