Darlene is a TK-6th grade elementary music educator, chorus director, private piano teacher, and podcaster in Orange County, California with more than a decade of music teaching experience. Her experiences include designing curriculum for elementary music, directing studio music programs for kindergarten students, leading professional development, and training new teachers. She is passionate about creating learning environments that is culturally responsive. She holds a dual Bachelor’s of Music degree in Music Education and Piano Performance from Biola University and is currently pursuing a Master’s of Music Education degree from VanderCook College of Music.
