Cristian Good is an educator, consultant, and percussionist from Indiana.
Cristian is a graduate of Goshen College earning a Bachelor of Arts degree in Music. Throughout his time at Goshen College he was active in Symphonic Orchestra, Concert Band, Lavender Jazz, and Percussion Ensemble with additional appearances with the Maple City Chamber Orchestra. He has also assisted in several Brazilian drumming clinics and performances alongside Dr. Christopher Fashun, Asst. Professor of Music at Hope College.
As a music educator, Cristian has worked with a large variety of high school programs throughout northern Indiana. He has taught alongside Derrick Shannon, helping to build the Goshen High School percussion program from Class A finalists to appearing in WGI PSW finals in only three years. Cristian currently teaches percussion part-time at Homestead High School in Ft Wayne.
Cristian is a well-known expert in the marching arts audio community. He has extensive knowledge of the audio concepts and techniques used in the marching arts activity and has presented several clinics both for the Indiana Percussion Association as well as the Music for All Summer Symposium. Cristian was the Cavalier’s audio engineer during the 2014, 2015, and 2016 seasons working closely alongside Michael McIntosh and Tom McGillen. He has also been active in the WGI activity designing and consulting for multiple indoor percussion groups from Indiana. Cristian is currently the sound designer for Homestead High School and Carroll High School in Ft. Wayne and writes for many other groups around the country.
Cristian resides in Ft. Wayne, Indiana with his wife and pets. He currently works as a sales engineer at Sweetwater Sound while continuing to be involved in the marching activity both in and outside of Sweetwater.
