“Social Emotional Learning is a natural fit in the music classroom. When implemented through music, SEL strategies resonate with students. While the social and emotional challenges our students face seem daunting at times, intentional SEL instruction provides a framework for growth. As teachers, we have to continue to learn, to adapt to what works for our students, and to do it with as much passion and courage as we can.”
