André Williams (Indianapolis, IN) André Williams is an artist born and raised in Indianapolis, Indiana. Starting as a young percussionist, André became fascinated with the world of performance.
André was the first male member of the Warren Central World Guard in 2010–2011. After high school André attended DePauw University for theatre, studying concert dance and tanztheater. During his studies, he founded and directed the first student-led dance company on campus and conceptualized three main stage productions. André marched for Madison Scouts in 2013, while working with several schools in the Midwest.
After graduating, André returned to Indianapolis and danced for Phoenix Rising Dance Company and Studios, serving as executive assistant, rehearsal director, and resident choreographer before founding his dance company, Relevations Dance Company, in 2020. André is also currently the Guard Director for the Mt. Vernon Color Guard, a program currently nationally ranked in the top ten in their competitive class.
