Life-changing music educators are at the very core of Music for All’s mission. Without their hard work and dedication to their students’ musical experience, Music for All would not be able to provide programming to students. This Teacher Appreciation Week, we highlight the Associate Director of Bands at Vandegrift High School and the 2022 Yamaha 40 Under 40 recipient Katie VanDoren.
Katie is the assistant brass caption head for the world-class Santa Clara Vanguard Drum and Bugle Corps and an adjudicator at Music for All. These additional roles have allowed Katie to have more of an impact on young musicians beyond the Austin area.
We are proud to support music educators like Katie that create positively life-changing experiences for all.
