On an overcast March day, students from nine Indianapolis Public Schools gathered at Arsenal Technical High School to perform and participate in educational clinics facilitated by world-class musicians. Twenty ensembles performed in this non-competitive event, including ensembles from Arsenal Technical High School, George Washington High School, George Washington Carver Middle School, Harshman Middle School, Crispus Attucks High School, Newcomer Group, Edison School of the Arts, Shortridge High School, and William Penn School. It was invigorating to host ensembles live and in person again after a two-year hiatus. Arsenal Technical High School director Endy Andrahi described the festival as “an opportunity for schools from all over the city to gather and get feedback from high-level clinicians.”
