Originally from Itasca, IL, Stacey Larson Dolan is the Dean of Undergraduate Studies and Associate Director of Bands at VanderCook College of Music in Chicago, IL. At VanderCook, Mrs. Larson Dolan teaches music education and conducting courses and also directs bands at both the undergraduate and graduate levels.

Prior to teaching at VanderCook, Mrs. Larson Dolan was a successful music educator for twelve-years in both private and public education. Her past directing positions include: St. Viator High School in Arlington Heights, IL; Blackhawk Middle School in Bensenville, IL; staff member of the Lake Park Marching Band in Roselle, IL; and Creative and Artistic Director of the Bensenville Young Musicians Mentor Band in Bensenville, IL.

To date in her career, Mrs. Larson Dolan has acted as a guest conductor and clinician for over 450 bands from fifteen states and several ensembles from Canada and Europe. She has presented workshops and / or conducted at Music Educator Association Conferences and Festivals in Illinois, Wisconsin, Ohio, Kentucky, Indiana, Michigan, Texas, and Missouri. Her professional affiliations include the College Band Director’s National Association, Phi Beta Mu International Band Masters Fraternity, the National Association for Music Education and the National Band Association. Mrs. Larson Dolan has published in the Instrumentalist and was awarded the Barbara Buehlman Young Conductor Award as well as the Chicagoland Outstanding Music Educator Award.
