Michael Moon teaches in the Fulton County School District as Director of Bands at Roswell High School. His responsibilities include directing and coordinating all aspects of the Roswell Band program. Aside from conducting and rehearsing three concert ensembles, Moon also co-conducts the Roswell Symphony Orchestra and assist with many other school musical activities. Before his position at Roswell, Moon served as the Assistant Director of Bands in the Berrvyille School District in Berryville, AR. Moon assisted with all aspects of music department, serving as Director of Middle School Bands, Assistant Director of Choirs and Color Guard Director. Michael has earned degrees from Georgia State University in Atlanta, Georgia and the University of Arkansas in Fayetteville, AR. He has studied with Dr. Robert Ambrose, Professor Michael Palmer, Dr. John Lynch, Dr. Steve Davis, Professor W. Dale Warren and Dr. Christopher Knighten. He is a member of Georgia Music Educators Association, The National Association for Music Education, Kappa Kappa Psi, Tau Beta Sigma and Phi Mu Alpha.
